Inamul Hussain (30), a resident of Rajasthan, contacted Abdullah Ibrahim, a businessman from Filmnagar, over the phone. He claimed to have eight kilograms of gold and expressed his intention to sell it in bulk for Rs 6 crore, citing personal issues as the reason.

Hyderabad: A conman who tried to cheat a gold trader himself got tricked and was arrested by Filmnagar police on Thursday.
The man Inamul Hussain (30), a resident of Rajasthan contacted a businessman Abdullah Ibrahim, a resident of Filmnagar over phone. Inamul told Abdullah that he had eight kilograms of gold and planned to sell it for Rs 6 crore in bulk due to some personal issues.
Sensing something fishy Abdullah contacted the cyber crime police who asked him to avoid calls for fear of being duped.
However, Inamul came to city from Rajasthan and again contacted Abdullah.
The businessman then planned to get the man arrested and called him to his office. Inamul brought two gold biscuits and demanded Rs 30 lakh. However, Abdullah told he will get it tested for purity and then only pay the money. On pretext of taking Inamul to a place for getting the gold biscuits tested, he made him sit in the car and took him straight to Filmnagar police station.
Inamul was shocked on seeing the vehicle driving into the police station and swiftly a group of policemen dragging him out of the vehicle.
On interrogation the man admitted to have cheated people in similar manner.
A case is registered against Inamul at Filmnagar and he was arrested.
