JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the new Majestor full-sized, three-row SUV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. It’s essentially a more premium variant of the updated Gloster, which is set to launch in the coming months. Design of the SUV is heavily inspired by the globally sold Maxus D90, and it features an all-new interior. While the launch date and details of the MG Majestor SUV are yet to be revealed, here’s a closer look at all key details of the new MG 7-seater SUV.
MG Majestor: Expected Price
This new MG SUV will surely be priced premium than the Gloster, which is currently available within the price range of Rs 39.57 lakh – Rs 44.03 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Given its bold design and enhanced interior offerings, the Majestor prices are expected to fall between Rs 40 lakh – Rs 45 lakh. Once launched, it will face challenge from SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Nissan X-Trail.

MG Majestor: Design Elements
As mentioned above, the Majestor shares a strong resemblance with the Maxus D90 SUV. It looks big and rugged, and likely to offer a commanding road presence. The front fascia appears aggressive with a massive blacked-out grille featuring horizontal slats, headlamps with split setup, slim LED DRLs and a larger MG logo sitting in the centre of the grille. The black cladding running across its length at the front and sliver bash plate add more to its muscular appearance.
Moving to its side profile, the new MG 7-seater SUV gets black treatment on the wing mirrors and door handles and running board in chrome finish along with the diamond-cut, five-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile is largely similar to the Gloster featuring dual exhaust pipes and a sporty skid plate. However, the wraparound connected taillamps give it a distinct touch.
MG Majestor: Features, Interior
Interior details are concealed due to the tinted windows. However, the new MG 7-seater SUV is likely to have all-black cabin theme with features such as a large, free-floating touchscreen infotainment system and all digital instrument cluster. Similar to the Gloster, the Majestor SUV will have a 12-speaker audio system, three-zone climate control, heated and cooled driver’s seat with massaging function and power adjust, a panoramic sunroof, a heated passenger seat, Level 2 ADAS, tyre pressure monitoring system, and more.
MG Majestor: Engine, Gearbox
Under the hood, the new MG SUV is likely to house the Gloster’s 2.0L, 4-cylinder twin turbo diesel engine paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The motor pushes out a maximum power of 216bhp and 479Nm of torque. The SUV will come with the 4X4 capabilities.
