Tributes paid to late NTR in Hyderabad Filmnagar on his 29th death anniversary

On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the passing of the world-famous actor Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, tributes were paid to Rama Rao at his statue in the form of Krishna in Filmnagar, Hyderabad. On this occasion, NTR’s family members, politicians, Telugu film industry leaders and fans remembered NTR at the statue of NTR in Filmnagar.

On this occasion, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said… “I am not only a fan of NTR, but also a great devotee. He is a god in human form. NTR has never abandoned anyone who believed in him. They are all in good shape today. NTR is a person who wants everyone to be well. I feel fortunate to have written dialogues for his film. He would send me home with a full meal. I am proud to call myself his fan. NTR is a great man who sacrificed his life for the society. I wish that Annagaru should be born on Telugu soil once again and that the level of Telugu people should be raised once again.”

Madala Ravi said… “The main reason why people are talking about Telugu people not only in the country but also in the whole world today is Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. On the one hand, the roles he played as a village leader, and on the other hand, the great deeds he did as a public leader are known to everyone. Such a great man should definitely be given the Bharat Ratna. We should fight in that direction.”

NTR’s grand Daughter Nandamuri Roopa said… “On the occasion of the 29th death anniversary of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the idol of all Telugu people around the world, we all pay tribute to him. Even though he is not physically with us, I will always be in his thoughts. He is a person who will not die. He played magnificent roles in many films and is a star of his films. NTR is the only person who has impressed the audience by playing many divine roles. He was the person who formed the Telugu Desam Party for the self-respect of the Telugu people and established the government in 9 months. He ensured that the people got the necessary shelter, cloth and shade. People remember him more as a great person who wanted the welfare of the people than as an actor or a political leader. Similarly, he ensured equal property rights for women. I wish to follow in his footsteps while paying homage to my grandfather.”

NTR’s son Nandamuri Mohan Krishna said… “Today we are remembering the 29th death anniversary of my father. Even though he is not physically with us, his spirit will be around us, and his name will remain as long as the sun and moon exist. He played many roles in the film industry and impressed the audience. Similarly, he created a big storm in the political field and brought many changes. He organized many great programs for women’s property rights, for two rupees for a kilo of rice. He showed the strength of the Telugu people all over the world. We should consider it a blessing. I request that NTR’s services be recognized and he be honored with the Bharat Ratna. Thank you to everyone who came on this occasion.”

BRS Party Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath said… “Greetings to everyone who came to pay tribute to the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on his 29th death anniversary in Filmnagar. NTR is a person who is worth watching by all Telugu people around the world. NTR has now entered politics and since then our journey with him began. He had great faith in me and entrusted me with responsible positions. Hyderabad developed a lot during NT Rama Rao’s tenure as Chief Minister. He was with him in every work to develop Hyderabad with his eyes and took care of development works. The schemes he introduced 35 years ago are being implemented across the country under different names today. Taraka Rama Rao is such a forward-thinking person. He was the person who was in politics wearing saffron clothes and was scolding the entire country in those days. He came to power within 9 months of forming the party. Similarly, we all are happy that NTR got the Bharat Ratna. “You have to fall,” he said.

Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary Tummala Prasanna said… “Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is the person who took the self-respect of the Telugu people to a higher level by forming a political party in just 9 months, seizing power and taking it to a higher level in the days when the Telugu people were looking down on themselves. The reason why the Telugu people are shining like a beacon after Potti Sriramulu garu is NTR. Maybe those who have worked now have come, but his sixth film Patala Bhairavi played for 175 days on a pan-India level in those days. He was a great man who dedicated his entire life to the Telugu people. He founded a party in Hyderabad, became the CM, and also passed here. He did a lot for Telangana. NTR is the person who abolished the Patwari system and did not back down despite many threats to ensure that the power should not be in the hands of only the black castes but also the weaker sections. He introduced many schemes to benefit all the people. Such a great man was a social reformer, he passed away and We are still thinking about it even after 29 years. He is a person who has no death,” he concluded.
