VinFast, the Vietnam based car manufacturer, has showcased its global product range at the ongoing 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. As of now, the carmaker has yet revealed its product strategy for the Indian market, but confirmed its operation will begin this year. The VF6 and VF7 are expected to arrive in the second half of 2025, mostly likely around the festive season. VinFast VF8: Expected Price & Variants
The VF8 is a premium electric SUV estimated to be priced around Rs 55 lakh – Rs 60 lakh if launched in India. It will be positioned against the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. Similar to its global-spec version, the model coming to India could get two trims – Eco and Plus.

VinFast VF8: Battery, Range, Charging Time
Starting with the powertrain, the VF8 electric SUV uses an 87.7kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 412km for the Eco trim and 378km for the Plus trim. The Eco trim pushes out a maximum power of 353bhp and 500Nm of torque, while the Plus variant makes power worth 408PS and 620Nm of torque. Both these trims are available with dual motor, AWD (all-wheel drive) system. The Plus variant can do 0 to 100kmph in just 5.0 seconds. VinFast claims that the VF8’s battery can be DC fast charged from 10 to 70 percent in nearly 31 minutes.
VinFast VF8: Design & Dimensions
The VF8 electric SUV is 4,750mm long, 1,934mm wide and 1,667mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. Upfront, the EV carries the signature grille with slim LED headlamps connected via an LED light bar, sporty bumper with air intake featuring chrome accents and a sculpted bonnet. It has muscular shoulder line with prominent wheel arches, alloy wheels, flush door handles and a sloping roofline. The rear section has been adorned with the LED taillamps connected via a full-width LED light car, roof mounted spoiler, integrated brake light and sculpted tailgate.
VinFast VF8: Interior & Features
The new VinFast electric SUV has dual-tone Black and Brown interior theme with minimalist dashboard. There is a large 15.6-inch floating touchscreen display. The EV has also been packed with features such as heated and ventilated front and rear seats, wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, HUD (head-up display), powered front seats, brown leatherette seat upholstery, a 360 degree camera, 11 airbags, electronic stability control and ADAS suite.
