Hyderabad: Slamming the Congress govt over demolitions in Jawahar Nagar, Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender questioned if it had any control over the state administration.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Rajender said, “Do ministers have any control over officials? People are being pressured, and corruption is rampant, ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh.”
He warned that the BJP would not remain silent if the poor are targeted. “Be ready for anything. Be prepared to face any challenge. Be careful. This is not the Nizam’s government,” he added.
Rajender also highlighted the contributions of BJP leaders like Baddam Bal Reddy, Dattatreya, and Narendra in supporting the poor and helping them secure housing. “BJP leaders have a history of standing by the poor and fighting against oppression. If anyone tries to disrupt that support, beware,” he said. tnn
