The Hyundai Staria, a versatile people mover from the South Korean automaker, has finally made its India debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The carmaker has also showcased the Ioniq 9 electric SUV and launched the Creta Electric at the event. As of now, the carmaker has no plan to drive in the Staria MPV in India. The model was first unveiled in 2021 and currently on sale in several overseas markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and South Africa. Hyundai Staria: Engines
Globally, the Staria is available with two engine options – a 3.5L Smartstream MPI petrol and 2.2L VGT diesel, vary market-wise. The petrol motor, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, pushes out a maximum power of 268bhp. The 175bhp, diesel engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai Staria: Dimensions, Colours
The overall length, width and height of the new Hyundai MPV stand at 5,253mm, 1,997mm and 1,990mm, respectively. It sits on a 3,273mm long wheelbase. In global markets, the MPV is offered in four paint schemes – Shimmering Silver Metallic, Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl and Graphite Gray Metallic. There is also option of two premium combinations – Dark Chrome and Brass Chrome, along with the two cabin themes – Black One-tone Embroidered leather and Brown dual-tone embroidered leather.

Hyundai has packed the Staria MPV with lots of advanced goodies including the premium leather upholstery, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, full automatic climate control, power adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, an 8-inch touch display, heated and ventilated seats, air filter, LED ambient mood lighting and more.
The safety kit of the MPV consists of six airbags, blind spot view monitor, rear occupant alert, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, driver attention warning with leading vehicle departure alert function, lane following assist, vehicle stability management, and electronic stability control.
