BHPian TusharK recently shared this with other enthusiasts: TVS has showcased the Jupiter CNG – the world’s first CNG scooter, at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. While the Jupiter CNG is still a concept, the prototype unveiled at the event looks almost production-ready. TVS has neatly integrated a 1.4 kg CNG tank under the seat. However, this means the Jupiter CNG has no underseat storage space. The tank is hidden under a plastic panel, which has a filler nozzle and a pressure gauge. The Jupiter CNG also has a 2-litre petrol tank mounted under the floorboard, and the fuel filler is located on the front apron. TVS claims that the Jupiter CNG can cover 84 km on 1 kg of CNG and has a combined range of 226 km (CNG+Petrol). The Jupiter CNG is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.1 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 9.4 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. It can reach a top speed of 80 km/h.
