Home Minister V. Anitha inspected the Gopalapatnam police station on Monday.
During her visit, she enquired about the rowdy-sheeters under the police station limits, road accidents and ganja cases. She asked the police officials to initiate strict action against those involved in ganja smuggling.
Ms Anitha also asked the police to focus on traffic issues and parking difficulties under Gopalapatnam limits. She also enquired about the petitions in the ongoing Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) and asked the personnel to ensure they are resolved at the earliest. Earlier, Ms Anitha visited Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Simhachalam and offered prayers to the deity. She asked the Devasthanam officials to arrange a police outpost at Simhachalam.
