Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to give a major update to its three highly popular SUVs in 2025, namely, the Scorpio N, XUV700 and Thar. However, the carmaker hasn’t yet confirmed their launch date and details. All three SUVs are expected to receive feature upgrades and minimal cosmetic changes, while retaining their existing powertrain setups. Let’s take a look at what all we can expected from the 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift, XUV700 facelift and updated Thar.
2025 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift
The Scorpio (including N and Classic) is currently the top-selling SUV from the indigenous automaker in the country, followed by the Bolero, XUV700 and Thar. The 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N is likely to come with a larger 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) could be upgraded to the Level 2 ADAS. Features such as a 360 degree camera and ventilated seats, which are currently reserved for the top-end trim, might get affordable with the updated AX5 trim.
Similar to the pre-facelift version, the updated Scorpio N will use the 2.0L turbo petrol (203bhp/370Nm or 380Nm) and 2.2L diesel engines (132bhp/300Nm or 400Nm). Gearboxes will also be carried forward from the current model.
2025 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Reports suggest that the new 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift might borrow some features from the brand’s new born-electric XEV 9e electric SUV. The former is likely to get a triple screen setup, an advanced 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and augmented reality-based HUD (head-up display). The rest of its features and interior layout will remain intact.
The new 2025 Mahindra XUV700 is mostly likely to retain the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engines. Transmission options will also be the same – 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic.
2025 Mahindra Thar Facelift
The updated Thar is expected to come with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Features such as ventilated front seats and wireless phone charger could also be sourced from the Thar Roxx. The 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift might get 6 airbags as standard safety feature, while the higher trims could be benefited with the 360 degree camera and Level 2 ADAS suite. The engine setup of the new Mahindra Thar will be the same 1.5L diesel, 2.0L diesel and 2.2L diesel motors.
