Cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets of Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad and Mancherial of Telangana on Tuesday (January 21, 2025). India Meteorological Department issued a bulletin sounding a yellow alert to the three districts. Fog or misty conditions very likely to prevail in Hyderabad during Wednesday morning hours.
According to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report on Tuesday (January 21, 2025), nine districts in Telangana have recorded less than 10°C. The lowest of 6.0°C was recorded in Ginnedari of Kumaran Bheem Asifabad.
This was followed by 7.0°C in Kohir of Sangareddy; 7.6°C in Reddy Palle, Rangareddy; 7.8°C in Bela, Adilabad; 8.6°C each in Pembi Nirmal and Marpalle of Vikarabad; 8.8°C in Jukkal, Kamareddy; 9.1°C in Gajasingaram in Rajanna Sircilla and 9.3°C in Moulali of Medchal Malkajgiri. The lowest temperature in the remaining districts was below 14.0°C. In Hyderabad, 11.6°C was recorded in West Maredpally.
