Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance’s 3-year-old daughter Mirabel is taking the internet by storm for her unique ‘fashion statement’. She was of course elegantly dressed, but the toddler is making headlines now for the bandages she had on her fingers.
Mirabel Vance was in her mother’s arms as her father sworn in as the vice president of the United States on Monday. The toddler wore a white ensemble paired with a red coat, but that’s not what grabbed the attention of the netizens. It was the multiple bandages. The colourful bandages featured Bluey and Scooby-Doo, and the internet is obsessed with this unique fashion statement! Mirabel sucking her thumb throughout her father‘s swearing was also adored by netizens.
“Mirabel Vance made a bold New Generation fashion statement with her Little Red Riding Hood, 3-finger bandaid look,” a netizen wrote on X.
Another said, “Mirabel’s bandaids are THE fashion statement of the inauguration.
A netizen claimed that the bandaids were probably put just because the toddler insisted! “The bandaids on JD Vance’s daughter’s fingers are taking me out. You know there are NO cuts under there and they just needed to put them on because she insisted and they needed her to behave,” one wrote.
Another said, “I imagine a Navy attache guy at the VP Residence opening an intricately carved wooden box filled w a vast selection of character Band-Aids, from Paw Patrol to Barbie Nutcracker, lined up like teas, to offer them to young Maribel. “Thank you, sir, I’ll take Moana and Peppa today.”
One X user wrote, “JD Vance’s daughter covering herself with bandaids just ahead of an important event is an iconic toddler move.”
A second user wrote, “My favourite thing about this is that you just know the three bandaids on Vance’s daughter’s fingers was part of a negotiation to get her to forfeit fairy wings or something.”
The third user commented, “Mirabel Vance is actually the most powerful person in the room.”
Another comment on X reads, “Toddler’s are ruthless negotiators.”
A netizen wrote, “Among all the pomp & circumstance, Mirabel Vance wins the day. Just adorable.”
Another said, “I LOVE seeing the kids in the festivities today! I have 3 kids, the same ages as the Vance kids and their reactions and mannerisms are what all kids would do. The thumb-sucking, Band-aid wearing 3-year-old Mirabel is crushing the game.”
