Hanamkonda: St. Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPIPS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) New York USA.
The SPIPS chairman T Jayapal Reddy and ACPHS president Prof. Toyin Tofade signed the MOU in presence of the SPIPS principal Dr. D. Rajeshri and pharmacy practice HoD Dr. Praveen Devanandan here on Wednesday.
The MoU aims to develop cooperation and promote mutual understanding and excellence in practice-based education, research and knowledge exchange between the institutes.
The research and knowledge developed thus could be used for further research and its application at regional, national and global level.
The MoU could facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint academic programmes, cross-cultural initiatives and research collaborations. It also helps the colleges understand different cultures better, which helps them advertise more successfully in other countries.
Speaking on the occasion Jayapal Reddy explained about the very elements of education and leadership qualities along with character development.
Prof. Toyin Tofade explained about faculty development and student relations by maintaining a healthy mentor and mentee relationship and also advised to love the profession one follows.
International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Foundation for Education and Research director Kevin Ben Laurence also shared his life experiences and achievements guiding students on how to excel in life and career, said a release.
