A couple died in a road accident near the Aganampudi Toll Gate here under Duvvada police station limits here on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as G. Manmadha Rao (38) and Aruna Kumari (35), from Donkada area in Aganampudi.
As per the police, the accident occurred when they were heading to Gajuwaka on a motorcycle from their residence reportedly on a bank work. The duo allegedly hit the lorry and were crushed under the rear wheels which led to their death on the spot, the police said.
It was learnt that the victims are survived by two children.
Duvvada police have registered a case.
