The second match of Group C of the Under-19 Inter District Plate Group Tournament sponsored by Jharkhand Cricket Association at Jamtara Venue was played between Godda vs Sahibganj at the Outdoor Stadium on Thursday. Sahibganj team won the toss and decided to field first. While batting the same, Godda’s team was limited to 77 runs in just 16.1 overs. While playing the counter innings, Sahibganj team was limited to 59 runs in 20.2 overs. Thus Godda’s team won the match by 18 runs. Godda player Saurabh Kumar Manjhi, who performed excellently in the match, was awarded the Man of the Match award by District Cricket Association President Nigam Krishna Singh. Who took 07 wickets in 7.2 overs. Where the performance of the players in the match was as follows: While batting, Piyush Gupta contributed 27 runs for Sahibganj. Whereas from Godda, Satyam Singh contributed 16 runs and Piyush Kumar contributed 14 runs. While bowling, Saurabh Kumar Manjhi from Godda took seven wickets for 28 runs in 7.2 overs.
