Hyderabad: Demanding a review of HMDA master plan, Telangana BJP said that new zones should be created as per the convenience of farmers.
Addressing a press conference, BJP senior leader S Malla Reddy said that at least farmers with below five acres should be given facility to change the zones. “This process should be made easy and those with land parcels inside outer ring road should be given consideration and brought under residential category,” he said. Demanding half of the HMDA income should be given to local municipal bodies, he said there should be better coordination between local bodies and HMDA for permissions. He also demanded that extent of the growth corridor should be increased.
