
Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy will launch party’s Lok Sabha campaign on March 6 by addressing a public meeting ‘Palamuru Praja Deevena Sabha’ in Mahbubnagar town.
Congress working committee special invitee Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy along with party MLAs from old Mahbubnagar district on Saturday invited the CM to address the public meeting. Vamshi, who is also the AICC secretary, is the party’s candidate from Mahabubnagar parliamentary constituency in the ensuing polls.The public meeting will mark the end of ‘Palamuru Nyay Yatra’ launched by Vamshi, a fortnight ago.
“The foundation stone laid recently for Narayanpet-Kodangal lift irrigation scheme by CM Revanth has already created a positive wave in favour of the Congress among farmers,” said Vamshi, adding that the party will win the seat with a thumping majority.
Meanwhile, AICC appointed screening committee headed by Harish Choudhary met Revanth Reddy on Friday night and discussed the finalising of candidates for the upcoming LS elections.

Chief minister A Revanth Reddy ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the undervalued contract awarded to IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited by the previous BRS government for toll collection and maintenance of Nehru Outer Ring Road. The sale of 49% of the contract share to a foreign company will also be investigated.
