Strive for Viksit Kurnool: 20-Point Programme Chairman

Kurnool: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047 has inspired targeted development goals for Kurnool, stated 20-point programme chairman Lanka Dinkar during a review meeting on Thursday. He urged officials to expedite efforts, noting that 70.43 lakh mandays have been achieved out of the 99 lakh target for the financial year. DWAMA PD was directed to complete the remaining 29 lakh mandays within 70 days.

Dinkar highlighted the need for efficient fund utilisation, flagging discrepancies in dashboard data and stressing that unfinished works be verified. He raised concerns over the state average for functional household tap connections, urging checks to ensure water flow in the constituencies.

Regarding NTR Housing, he called for rectifying issues faced by beneficiaries and directed infrastructure improvements for TIDCO houses, including water, electricity, roads, schools, and healthcare access. Plans for comprehensive water supply under AMRUT 2 for Kurnool and Adoni were also discussed.

District collector P. Ranjit Basha, MLAs, and other representatives attended the meeting.
