Priyanka Chopra recently visited a temple in Hyderabad amid speculations about her involvement in the much-anticipated film ‘SSMB 29,’ directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu. On January 24, 2025, Priyanka shared glimpses of her early morning visit to a temple on her social media.
During her visit, Priyanka posted pictures on Instagram stories, where she appears to be wearing a light pink salwar suit and performing rituals at the temple. This phrase has led many to wonder if it signifies her official confirmation of joining the cast of ‘SSMB 29.’.
Earlier, Priyanka had visited the Chilkur Balaji temple in Hyderabad, where she also hinted at starting a new chapter. In her posts from that visit, she shared heartfelt messages about peace and prosperity and mentioned Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni. She wrote, “With the blessings of Shri Balaji, a new chapter begins. May we all find peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. While there has been no official announcement from Priyanka or the filmmakers regarding her role in ‘SSMB 29,’ the timing of her visit and the nature of her posts have led to widespread speculation.
When she arrived in Hyderabad, she shared a reel in which she shared about her visit to Hyderabad with the background music of the SS Rajamouli film, ‘RRR.’.
‘SSMB 29’ is expected to be an action-adventure film. The film officially commenced production following a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, although details about the complete cast and crew remain under wraps.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is also reported to be joining the cast, playing the main antagonist in the film.
