Hyderabad: Continuing its crackdown on illegal encroachments and constructions, HYDRAA carried out the demolition of a compound wall blocking access to several colonies under Pocharam Municipality in Rangareddy district on Saturday. The demolitions brought relief to the owners of plots in Divya Nagar Layout, as well as residents of various other layouts.
Colonies and layouts, including Ekashila Layout, Venkatadri Township, Suprabahat Venture-1, Maheshwara Colony, Kachavani Singaram, Ekashila-Peerjadiguda Road, Balaji Nagar, Suprabhat Venture-2, 3, 4, VGH Colony, Pratap Singaram Road, Sai Priya, Medipalli, Parvatha Puram, Chennareddy Colony, Hills View Colony, and Muttelliguda, now have unobstructed access.
HYDRAA further stated that the Divya Layout spans approximately 200 acres, with 2,218 plots established. Locals allege that about 30% of these plots belong to Nalla Mallareddy, according to the agency.
