The ‘Panchayat’ web series in Hindi has received good response from the audience. Now this web series has been remade in Telugu titled ‘Sivarapalli’. The ‘Sivarapalli’ web series on the Amazon Prime video of the popular OTT platform came to the streaming from January 24. And let’s see what this web series looks like.

Story:
Shyam (Rag Mayur), who has completed BTech, wants to go to America for his studies like his friends. However, his father joins the job of the panchayat secretary. Shyam will be posting in Sivarapalli, a remote village in Kamareddy district of Telangana. In that hometown, the female Sarpanch Sushila (Rupalakshmi) is limited to her husband Sudhakar (Muralidhar Goud). Shyam, who joins the job even if he does not like, faces the situation in the village ..? What kind of hardship does Shyam feel with the panchayat office employees and Sarpanch’s husband? Is Shyam’s attempt to go to America? This is the story of this web series.

Plus Points:
Although the Hindi web series has remade the story of ‘Panchayat’, the story of Sivarapalli is very close to the Telugu Nativity. This web series is a remote village of Telangana -themed. Dialogues in this web series, in particular, are well connected by audiences.

The way the rural background is once again shown to the audience is impressive. Our eyes have been shown to what the panchayat office looks like in the countryside. Shyam’s behavior with innocent villagers impresses audiences. The point of touching the point of consciousness in rural women is good.

Rag Mayur is impressed with the role of Shyam. Muralidhar Goud is once again impressed with his performance as Sarpanch’s husband. The story is being interrogated by director Bhaskar Maurya. ‘Sivarapalli’ entertains audiences as a Pure Family Audience content without any twists and adult content.

Minus Points:
No matter how simple the story is in such web series, the entertainment should be very careful. It must be said that this entertainment has missed a little in ‘Sivarapalli’. Despite the comedy scenes, they make laughs. A few more scenes, however, seem to be putting something.

Runtime is also important for a web series. The Sivarapalli web series runtime feels very lengthy. Audience feels that a similar simple story has been stretched for almost four and a half hours. Some lag scenes are also minus this web series.

Some sequences seem unnecessarily put. Audience is likely to skip a lot of scenes as they do not recognize those who have acted in all the characters except a few characters.

Technical category:
Director Bhaskar Maurya’s attempt to entertain the audience with the story of Pakka Telugu Nativity should be appreciated. It must be said that he was successful in this endeavor. He succeeded in making the story well connected to any of them. The cinematography was another asset for the film. The environment and the behavior of the people there were very good. Sinjit Yerramilli Music impresses. The editing work should be still better. Some lag scenes have to be trimmed. Never mind the construction values.

The verdict:
Overall, ‘Sivarapalli’ impresses the audience with a very simple line in the background of a pakka village. The web series is the story of a fine family content without any over twists and ashes. However, there is a high runtime and the lag scenes are minus. Those who love the Village Backdrop web series can try ‘Sivarapalli’.
