Warangal: Two cadets from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Kakatiya University College of Engineering and Technology have been selected to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2024 in New Delhi, announced college principal Dr N. Ramana in Hanamkonda on Saturday.
Junior under officer B. Haripriya, a third-year BTech student, will represent the college in the RDC cultural programme, while second-year BTech student K. Akash Vardhan was chosen for the Flag Area segment.
The vice-chancellor, Prof. K. Pratap Reddy, registrar prof. P. Malla Reddy, Colonel Devendar S. Rawat, Colonel Ratna Reddy, and NCC officers Lt. Dr K. Vijay Kumar and Dr Anil Kumar praised the cadets for their achievement.
The selection was widely celebrated within the college, with teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, and fellow cadets extending their congratulations to Haripriya and Akash Vardhan for bringing honour to their institution.
