Hyderabad: Seven people died while several sustained severe injuries after a lorry carrying iron bars tried to overtook two auto-rickshaws, but collided with them. The incident took place on Sunday on the Warangal-Mamunuru road in Telangana’s Warangal, about 146 kms away from Hyderabad. Locals said that the lorry loaded with iron bars tried to overtake two autorickshaws, but failed. Following that, the iron bars fell on the two vehicles as the lorry overtook, killed seven people.
Police reached the spot shifted the injured to hospital and dead bodies to morgue for PME. A case has been registered, Further probe is underway.
