Hyderabad: The state govt has disbursed 9.9 crore as ex gratia to 141 farmer families who lost their family members to suicide. This follows a directive by HC under GO 15. The Rythu Swarajya Vedika fought tirelessly for a decade to secure justice for affected families across 19 districts. Facing repeated delays in fund release, the group turned to legal action, culminating in the court’s recognition of these families as eligible beneficiaries.
