I recently acquired a 2022 M340i (pre LCI) as my daily driver, I’m based out of Dubai.
When I bought the car, the used car dealer said glove box is not opening and can be replaced under warranty. Was able to bargain based on this to reduce asking price.
A few days after I bought my car, I went on a weekend trip and noticed a vibration or rattling noise coming from the dash speakers, especially while driving in sports mode at limit.
Have you heard of anyone else experiencing a similar issue?
I took it to the dealership, and did a test drive with them and they acknowledged the issue. After diagnosing, they explained that the noise isn’t actually from the speakers but is caused by something loose behind the glovebox, with the sound traveling through the dash speaker vents.
After a long wait for 2 weeks, glove box has been replaced and now it seems like vibration noise has gone away.
