Today is a golden chapter in the history of India. The date of 26 January reminds us of the importance of our constitution, democracy and freedom. Republic Day is not just a celebration, but is a reminder day inspiring introspection, inspiring its duties towards the country.
What is the importance of Republic Day?
India was independent on 15 August 1947. But we did not have any written constitution that could make the country a strong and organized republic. Then Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s name and formation of the Constituent Assembly was formed. It took 2 years, 11 months and 18 days to make the Constitution of India. The constitution was finally adopted on 26 November 1949. But it came into force on 26 January 1950. The date of 26 January is because the Indian National Congress announced ‘Purna Swaraj’ on the same day in 1930.

The Constitution gave us a democratic system, in which every citizen has the right to choose their government. It respects the diversity of our country and makes it our strength. It teaches us that no one should be discriminated against on the basis of religion, caste, gender or language.
The challenges of the country and our responsibility
Today we are celebrating 76th Republic Day. It is a matter of happiness and pride. But we should also accept that the country is still facing many challenges. Problems like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, corruption are becoming an obstacle in our development. But if the youth want, then the situation can improve. The youth have the energy and talent that can take the country to new heights. Just need to put that talent and energy in the right direction.
Republic day message
Republic Day teaches us how many struggles our ancestors fought for freedom and democracy. Blood was shed like water. Examples of bravery were established. At least we can do so much that be loyal to the country and the Constitution. Every citizen should perform their duties with full honesty for the country and together make India a better country.

Every government has the courage formed from here.
