HYDERABAD: In a hit-and-run case, a 45-year-old man was crushed to death when an SUV ran over him while he was sleeping on the footpath outside Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital in Banjara Hills. The vehicle injured two more people late Friday night.
The driver, 23-year-old Sanket Srinivas, a cameraman, lost control of the SUV around 1.12am, veered off the road, ploughed down the victims, and then crashed into a concrete railing. The 45-year-old died on the spot. The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. No victim has been identified yet.
