Hyderabad:Additional police commissioner Vikram Singh Mann of the city police and M. Manik Raj, superintendent of police, ISW, Intelligence, Hyderabad, were awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service on the occasion of Republic Day.
The DGP also extended his greetings to the police officers/personnel who have been awarded the President’s Medal and Medal for Meritorious service.
The Director General of Police Jitender on Saturday congratulated police officers who received the Best Electoral Practice Award from the Telangana State Governor on Saturday.
The medal for meritorious service was awarded Kartikeya, inspector-general, Intelligence, Hyderabad; K Ram Kumar, Addl. DCP, Shamshabad; Mohd Fazlur Rahman, Addl. DCP, Special Branch, Cyberabad; A. Muthyam Reddy, Addl. SP, H/R, Intelligence, Hyderabad; K.V. Ramana, DSP, ISW, Intelligence, Hyderabad and A. Venugopal, DSP, DGP office, Hyderabad.
Other winners of the meritorious service were Anumala Niranjan Reddy, circle inspector, Metpally, Jagtial; Ranveer Singh Thakur, assistant sub inspector (ASI-1236), 1 Battalion, TGSP, Yousufguda; Peter Joseph Bahadur Armed Reserve SI (ARSI), 8th Bn TGSP, Kondapur; Mohd. Moinullah Khan, ARSI, CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad; V. Pathya Naik, head constable, ISW, Intelligence, Hyderabad; Md. Ayoob Khan, head constable, Greyhounds.
The medal for meritorious service was also awarded to Home Guards Manthri Eshwaraiah HG-29, Maheshwaram, Rachakonda; Medipalli Yadagiri, HG-13, Greyhounds; Komati Laxman, HG-23, Greyhounds; and Kallemla Ayilaiah, HG-63, Greyhounds.
