Oben Electric Opens 10 New Showrooms
With the launch of Oben Rorr EZ, the company has aiming for the mass-market approach. However, the mass-market goals need excellent reach and touchpoints across major cities. That’s exactly what Oben Electric is doing. The company extended its showroom network to include 10 new ones.
All 10 of these showrooms were opened on 26th January 2025, on India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations. With these new showrooms and service centres added, Oben Electric has expanded its touchpoints across 7 Indian states and 14 major cities. The company aims to expand this number to 100 new showrooms across 50 cities by FY26.
The new showroms open yesterday, are located in strategic places like shivaji Nagar and dhankawadi areas in pune, hubballi in karnataka, malappuram and thrissur in kerala, bilaspur in chattisgarh Budaun in Uttar Pradesh and Adhichini in New Delhi.
Oben Electric is the only Indian EV manufacturer with complete vertical integration as they design, develop and manufacture all critical components in-house. These components include LFP batteries, motors, fast chargers and vehicle control units. The company currently sells Oben Rorr and Oben Rorr EZ in India.
The latest addition is Oben rorr thiswhich is a more affordable variant of Oben Rorr and is aimed to have greater impact on Indian electric motorcycle segment. It is priced aggressively priced, starting from Rs 89,999 (Ex-sh effective) with 95 km/h top speed and 175 km of range on a single charge.
