Vijayawada: Jana Sena president and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan called for unity and restraint among party cadres and alliance members, urging them to focus on the collective vision of building a prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
In an open letter shared on Sunday via the party’s official X account, Pawan Kalyan emphasised the need to avoid unnecessary disputes, public discussions of internal matters, and reactions to misinformation on social media. He appealed for responsible behaviour to protect the integrity and goals of the alliance comprising Jana Sena, TDP, and BJP.
Pawan Kalyan reiterated his commitment to the state’s development, stating that his politics are driven by service and the desire to uplift those in need, not personal ambition. He highlighted the alliance’s shared goal of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a $2.5 trillion economy by 2047 and building a golden Andhra Pradesh. He also announced that future strategies for the party would be discussed during Jana Sena Foundation Day on March 14.
Reflecting on the NDA’s victory in the 2024 general elections, he attributed the alliance’s success to public frustration with corruption, lack of governance, and debt accumulation under the previous administration. The victory, with the alliance securing 164 assembly seats, demonstrated the people’s trust in a stable govt and leadership focused on long-term development.
Since coming to power, the state govt under chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance worked diligently to attract investments exceeding ₹3 lakh crore. Significant progress was made in building quality infrastructure and fulfilling election promises, balancing welfare and development initiatives.
Pawan Kalyan urged members to prioritise maintaining public trust and contributing to a brighter future for the youth, emphasising that the alliance carries a significant responsibility toward the people’s aspirations.
