Telangana is keen on collaborating with Aichi in trade and industrial sectors, Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu told a visiting delegation from the Prefecture in Japan.
Highlighting Aichi Prefecture’s leadership across automotive manufacturing, aerospace, robotics and advanced machinery sectors and playing host to carmaker Toyota’s plant, he said Japan’s largest startup incubation centre ‘Station AI’ has also been established there. Telangana’s T-Hub, which has emerged as a key enabler of startups in India, offers immense opportunities for synergies in innovation and entrepreneurship, he said.
Mr. Sridhar Babu assured the delegation of Telangana’s commitment to building robust bilateral relations and reiterated the State’s openness to partnerships in emerging technologies, startups and industrial innovation, the Minister’s office said in a release on Monday.
The delegation, led by Hirohito Kondo, a member of the Aichi Assembly, invited the Minister to participate in the 20th Asian Games scheduled to be held in Aichi in 2026. Mr. Kondo also highlighted how the Ghibli Animation Park in Aichi has been drawing tourists from across the world. He expressed optimism about the mutual benefits of fostering closer ties between the two regions.
