100-day action plan to achieve 100% pass rate in SSC exams

Vijayawada: With SSC examinations set to commence on March 17 in Andhra Pradesh, the state education department is leaving no stone unturned to improve the pass percentage.
After HRD and IT minister Nara Lokesh directed officials to aim for a 100% pass rate in govt schools, district education officers (DEOs) have rolled out a 100-day action plan to achieve this ambitious target.
Last year, the state recorded an 86.69% pass percentage in SSC regular exams. This year, the education department is determined to surpass this figure. Special efforts are being made to create a stress-free and conducive environment for students to focus on their studies.
Teachers are closely monitoring individual students, identifying weak areas, and providing tailored support to improve their performance. In addition to academic preparation, schools are conducting special motivational and counselling sessions to help students overcome exam-related anxiety.
To further boost preparedness, the department introduced free final exams following practice exams. Both high-performing and struggling students were identified for targeted training, with particular focus on key subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English.
Classes are also being held on Sundays for Class 10 students to maximise learning opportunities. District-specific action plans have been implemented under the supervision of DEOs, ensuring preparation is closely monitored at the mandal level.
NTR district DEO UV Subba Rao expressed confidence in achieving the goal of a 100% pass rate.
