The second nectar bath of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj will be done on Mauni Amavasya i.e. 29 January. So far, a total of 15 crore devotees have taken a dip of faith in the Sangam in 17 days and there are possibilities that on the day of Mauni Amavasya, 10 crore people will take a holy dip in the Sangam. Keeping in mind the crowd of common devotees, the administration has made some changes in the bathing time of the akhadas.
Where earlier the arena had left in the Amrit bath at 5:15 am, this time the Akhara will start coming out of the camp at 4 am. Also, this time the arena will bathe quickly, so that all the situation will be under control. Like the first Amrit bath, all the 13 akhadas will leave for bathing in this second Amrit bath.
Which arena will take a bath first?
In view of the crowd arriving for Mahakumbh bath, many changes have been made this time including systematic arrangements. This includes all the things like zonal plans, security, crowd management. Due to this, changes have been made in the time and order of bathing of the akhadas this time.
According to the new change, this time the Naga Sadhus of the arena will go to bathe from the camp at 4 am and take a bath till 5:40 in the morning. In the first Amrit bath, Mahanirvani and Atal Akhara took out from the camp for bathing at 05:15 am. At the same time, bathing of all the akhadas will be completed by 3 pm and after that all other devotees will be able to bathe in the confluence.
Changes in the order of Digambar Akharas
Apart from these, this time the bathing time of Digambar Akharas has also been changed. On Makar Sankranti, the Nirmohi Akhara took a bath first and did Nirvani Ani Akhara. At the same time, this time Nirvani Ani Arena will take a bath first and after that Nirmohi Akhara will go to bathe.

Niranjani and Anand Arena – 4:50 am, 5:50 am
Juna, Call and Agni Arena – 05:45 am, 6:45 am
