HYDERABAD, JANUARY 22, 2025: P Siva Reddy, Postal Assistant, Adilabad Division under Telangana Postal Circle has represented the Indian Men’s Kho Kho team which won its inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025 held from 13th January to 19th January 2025. The event is organized by the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) in collaboration with the International Kho Kho Federation (IKKF) at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, India. Mr P Siva Reddy made a sensational performance in the World Cup and was awarded as BEST ATTACKER in the first match of the tournament against Nepal.
Mr P.V.S. Reddy, Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle has congratulated Siva Reddy for his stellar performance in the World Cup. Telangana Postal Circle is proud of its employee representing India and Winning the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup. Siva Reddy has been working as a Postal Assistant since 12.09.2022 in the Department of Posts. He is a 28-year-old Kho Kho player with the native place of Edara village in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. Born in a farmer’s family, Siva Reddy started playing Kho Kho from his school days in the year 2006.
Siva Reddy has played in 34 national-level tournaments, earning (3) three Gold, (4) four Silver and (8) eight Bronze medals for Andhra Pradesh State. Sri P. Siva Reddy has also won the international gold medal for India in the international Kho Kho Federation event held in London in 2018 and also won the India Vs Nepal International Kho Kho Test match series held at Jaipur in 2018.
