Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have already proved that they share impressive on-screen chemistry in their previous film, Love Story. Continuing the same vibe, they are endearing in romantic moments shown in “Thandel.” The trailer is out today.
Naga Chaitanya plays Raju, a Thandel, a leader of fishermen. He is deeply in love with Bujji Thalli, played by Sai Pallavi. Their romantic tale takes a new turn when Raju and other fishermen venture beyond Indian territorial waters. Their doomed expedition results in their apprehension by Pakistani soldiers, placing Raju in a precarious predicament.
The trailer highlights Raju’s steadfast patriotism and courage, even amidst challenges, and demonstrates his genuine strength, both as a fisherman and as a leader.
The trailer skillfully combines romance and patriotism. Naga Chaitanya adeptly embodies the role of a tough fisherman, while Sai Pallavi excels as the rustic beauty.
Director Chandoo Mondeti maintains commercial elements well in the trailer. The musical score by Devi Sri Prasad enhances the film’s emotional core.
The release date for “Thandel” is February 7th.
