Committed to Strengthen Revanth’s Hands, Says Patancheru MLA

Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy Talking To Government Whip Adi Srinivas and TPCC Vice President M Vinod Reddy in Patancheru on Thursday.

Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy appeared before the Congress committee to explain his version in the feud between him and another Congress leader Kata Srinivas Goud that led to tension among the Congress cadre in the constituency.

The meeting was held at the residence of TPCC vice president M Vinod Reddy in the presence of Government Whip Adi Srinivas, where Mr Mahipal Reddy said he would standby the recommendations of the committee that would submit the report to the PCC president on Friday.

Mr. Vinod Reddy said the Patancheru MLA clarified on the absence of pictures of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and AICC leaders and said it was not deliberate. The MLA is committed to strengthen Chief Minister’s hands and the scuffle between the followers of Srinivas Goud and the MLA are being sorted out.

Mr. Mahipal Reddy was elected on the BRS ticket but joined the Congress later. However, the followers of Srinivas Goud, who unsuccessfully contested against Mr Mahipal Reddy, had created a ruckus at the MLA’s camp office over the picture of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in the MLA’s office.
