After the stampede, CM Yogi has held a meeting with the responsible officers. At the same time, they are given necessary instructions which are being followed. These changes will be applicable in spring panchati.

These changes occurred after stampede

Kali Road Parking has been completely closed after a stampede at Mahakumbh. Vehicles are also not entering with pedestrians. The entry of the vehicles on the red route has also been appointed. However, the parking lot is completely empty. Neither vehicles are being parked here nor there is a crowd of devotees here.

A large number of devotees are present at all railway stations in Prayagraj. All are returning to their home after bathing. ADG and District Magistrate Prayagraj are engaged in conveying each devotee to their destination safely. Trains are being conducted continuously by making contact with the railway. Additional buses of Transport Corporation have also been installed.

Management of everything for devotees

Apart from this, holding areas have been created in the border areas so that there is no crowd pressure in the fair area. Wherever people have been stopped, food/drinking water of all has been arranged there. Electricity supply is not being interrupted in any holding area.
Petroling has been increased in the border district of Prayagraj. Ayodhya-Prayagraj, Kanpur-Prayagraj, Fatehpur-Prayagraj, Lucknow-Pratapgarh-Prayagraj, Varanasi-Prayagraj are not blocked anywhere on all the routes. All the return routes from Prayagraj are constantly being kept open.

Traffic of devotees continues

Currently, there is a continuous movement of devotees in the Mahakumbh Mela area. There is no pressure of the crowd anywhere, it is being taken care of. Let us tell you for the information that ‘Amrit Snan’ is to be held on the occasion of Basant Panchami on February 3. Regarding this, the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police will review the arrangements of Mahakumbh Mela area on Thursday. In view of Basant Panchami, there will be a focus on every point related to security and convenience. In order to further improve the system in Mahakumbh, Ashish Goyal, who has served as a Mandalayukta service in Kumbh 2019 and Bhanu Goswami, VC of ADA, is being deployed in Prayagraj.
