Took the Kolar-Chittor route while going, not knowing that it will lead me to a narrow patch at bommasamudram railway crossing.

Recently completed Bengaluru (Kr Puram) – Kancheepuram Trip and Back. Took the Kolar-Chittor route while going, not knowing that it will lead me to a narrow patch at bommasamudram railway crossing. Had a heart stopping 10 min drive of my life navigating that tiny patch with vehicles coming in opposite direction too (see the attached image)
Thanks to fellow bhpians, took the Vellore-katpadi-chittor route on the way back
Statistics:
Car : Honda City Zx CVT 5th Gen
Fully loaded with 5 adults and full boot
Mileage : 17.7 kmpl (tank full) with manual + Mid cross verified
Fuel : IndianOil XP95 (Great pickup, smooth engine op)
Speed : 90-95 kmph for 80% of the highway drive
Advice : Bommasamudram work might take a year to get done, till then Chittor-katpadi-vellore is a much better option with neat roads (mind the traffic at vellore,katpadi towns)
