Where the RR focuses on ‘Softness’ in its feel, the G has a ‘Rugged’ yet premium feel.
BHPian 14000rpm recently shared this with other enthusiasts:
I’d never Driven nor ridden in a G before. Drove my friend’s G350d in Bangalore recently and I see why it has a unique position in the market.
The best comparison I can make is with a Range Rover which is my daily driver (A Sport actually).
Both the cars feel very luxurious and have a very good ride. Where the RR focuses on ‘Softness’ in its feel, the G has a ‘Rugged’ yet premium feel.
Confused? Let me explain:
- The RR features soft close doors which feel great. The G’s doors are a solid mechanical click which eludes ruggedness.
- The timeless edginess of the G design exude ruggedness via an Industrial looking styling whereas the minimalistic lines of the RR exude premium luxury.
All-in-all : This G Drive has certainly made me atleast look at the G as one of the options when I get around to replace my RRS someday.
