A four-year-old child was attacked by two stray dogs on Friday near his house in Hyderabad, Telangana. The attack occurred when the child was playing outside on the road in Golden Heights Colony of Rajendranagar area. Reportedly, the two dogs pounced on the child without any provocation.
Although the situation was alarming, the child’s mother acted swiftly and intervened. Her quick actions prompted the dogs to release the child and retreat.
Despite the immediate response, the child suffered severe injuries to the leg, waist, and thigh. The child was immediately taken for medical treatment following the attack.
The attack on the child raised fresh concerns over the increasing number of stray dog attacks in the area, as the local authorities continued to deal with the issue of uncontrolled stray population.
