Highest-Ever Monthly Sales In Jan

January 2025 was a profitable month for the South Korean automaker, as the Hyundai Creta (including ICE and Electric versions) recorded its highest ever monthly sales of 18,522 units. The company’s total monthly sales stood at 65,603 units, comprising domestic sales of 54,300 units and export sales of 11,600 units. In December 2024, Hyundai Motor India registered total sales of 42,208 units, marking a significant 55.4 percent MoM (month-on-month) sales growth.  However, the carmaker’s sales declined by 3 percent YoY, reaching 67,615 units in January, 2024. It recorded 10.5 percent YoY growth in exports last month.

Talking about the Hyundai Creta Electricthe electric midsize SUV comes in six variants – Executive, Smart, Smart (O), Smart (O) LR, Premium and Excellence LR – priced at Rs 17.99 lakh, Rs 19 lakh, Rs 19.50 lakh, Rs 21.50 lakh, Rs 20 lakh and Rs 23.50 lakh, respectively. It comes with two battery packs – 42kWh and 51.4kWh – delivering an ARAI claimed range of 390km and 473km, respectively. The SUV’s LR version does 0 to 100kmph in 7.9 seconds, and delivers power worth 171bhp with 255Nm of torque. The 51.4kWh battery pack can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 58 minutes with a DC fast charger. Using an 11kW AC home charger, it takes 4.5 hours to fully charge.
