Kickstarting the calendar year 2025, Hyundai has registered solid growth prospects in terms of sales in domestic and exports. The company currently operates an expansive portfolio including Creta, Venue, Alcazar, Tucson, Exter, i20, Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, Verna, Ioniq 5 and the newly launched Creta Electric.
Hyundai Sales Jan 2025
In January 2025, Hyundai Motor India sold a total of 65,603 units. Breaking this number further, we can see that Hyundai sold 54,003 units in the domestic market, while 11,600 units were shipped to many global markets outside of India. Thus establishing India as an important export hub for the brand’s international operations.
Analysing Hyundai sales Jan 2025, we can see a solid growth in both YoY and MoM aspects. When compared to the 57,115 units sold in January 2024, Hyundai witnessed a 14.86% YoY growth with a volume gain of 8,488 units.
As opposed to the 42,208 units sold in December 2024Hyundai registered a 55.42% MoM growth with 23,395 units gained in volume. Creta remains the darling of Hyundai’s sales charts as it registered 18,522 units, which is the highest monthly sales Creta has ever clocked. With the launch of Creta Electric, the popularity of Creta brand is increased considerably.

Domestically, our first indigenous electric SUV – the Hyundai CRETA Electric which was launched in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on 17th January 2025, has begun its innings on a strong note. It has helped propel brand CRETA to its highest ever domestic monthly sales of 18,522 units, in January 2025.
