Hyderabad: After a spectacular first edition, The Times of India’s Happy Streets initiative is back at Necklace Road tomorrow. This unique, vehicle-free event helps citizens reclaim the streets and blends fitness, fun, music, and creativity — a perfect Sunday morning outing for all ages.
Those who were there last week already know how the morning pans out. If you are a newbie to Happy Streets, we will kick off things with yoga and meditation by Bodhi Yoga, Zumba and fitness dance by Encore Fit, and a belly dancing workout by BELEDI. Don’t miss the rap performance by Tryos and electrifying beats by DJ Amjad Malik.
Kids can explore their creativity at Global Art, while people of all ages can play giant-sized games with Gamology. Sharanya from Gamology says, “Get ready to experience a fantastic collection of unique and exciting digital free party games designed for everyone, whether you are six or 100! In this digital age, our games offer a refreshing way to disconnect from screens and reconnect with the pure joy of playing. They are fun, quirky, and guaranteed to bring back childhood memories.”
The Decathlon zone promises joy through an array of sports and games. Try cycling with Hyderabad Bicycling Club or skating with Skater Community. Animal lovers can visit the pet zone by Pet Paradise. If you feel the need for furry love, adopt a puppy at the Pawanasana stall, which is organising this adoption drive in association with Bliss Foundation. There’s also a unique painting workshop with puppies.
Happy Streets is presented by Joyalukkas, powered by Lansum Properties, and supported by Hyderabad Traffic Police. Entry is free. See you there!
