2025 KTM 250 Adventure Details
There have been a few spy shots of 2025 KTM 250 Adventure from India for some time now. This motorcycle bears a similar design as its bigger brother and gets most of the premium componentry as well. The company is likely to launch 2025 KTM 250 Adventure alongside 2025 KTM 390 Adventure lineup.
Launch was supposed to happen on 30th January 2025, as per an official teaser. Details of 250 Adventure have been revealed on the company website. It will be positioned on the same split-trellis frame and bolt-on subframe as 2025 390 Adventure. All the bodywork is also similar to its bigger brother.
The main difference lies in the powertrain as 250 Adventure is powered by a 249.07cc single-cylinder DOHC 4V/cyl liquid-cooled engine that is capable of generating 30.6 bhp of peak power and 25 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip and assist clutch to prevent wheel hopping under down-shifting.
What to expect?
Componentry-wise, 250 Adventure gets 43mm WP Apex USD telescopic front forks with 200 mm travel, WP Apex rear mono-shock with 205 mm travel and 10-steps preload adjustable. Braking hardware comprise of 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS.
It comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres. There might be a more off-road focussed version of 250 Adventure with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wore-spoke tyres, as seen with the previous set of spy shots.
Novelty features include a quick-shifter, ride-by-wire throttle and off-road ABS. Kerb weight of 2025 KTM 250 Adventure is 177 kg, seat height is 825 mm and ground clearance is 227 mm. Fuel tank capacity is still 14.5L, promising 400 km+ range from a filling. Tall windscreen, knuckle guards, LED projector headlights and a 5-inch TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation are noteworthy too.
