Visakhapatnam: The 1996-batch-IPS officer Shanka Brata Bagchi will assume office as commissioner of police of Visakhapatnam on Monday morning. Prior to the post, IPS Bagchi served as the additional director general of police (law and order). He replaced A Ravi Shankar, who has been transferred and posted as additional director general of police in the CID.TNN
