In an initiative to mark World Cancer Day, Kamineni Hospitals organised a drone show featuring 200 drones at GD Goenka School in LB Nagar’s Rock Town Residents Colony. The event, aimed at spreading awareness on cancer, drew a crowd of over 5,000 attendees, including students and residents from LB Nagar, Nagole and Chaitanyapuri.

The synchronised drone display highlighted advancements in cancer prevention and treatment, inspiring stories of survival and the importance of early detection and social responsibility. The initiative was supported by AirBotics. All the drones were designed and made in India and operated within a geofenced boundary for precision and safety.

Speaking at the event, Chief Operating Officer of the hospital Gayatri Kamineni highlighted the need to dispel fears surrounding cancer. “With advanced treatments and early detection, we can effectively combat this disease. Modern medical technologies are available for diagnosis and treatment, and it is crucial to consult a medical expert promptly upon noticing any symptoms,” she said.
