However, can it be the highest-grossing film of 2025? That seems doubtful, as WAR 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, is the strongest contender for the top spot.

On the other hand, Kantara 2 has the potential to be a pan-India blockbuster. The first part was a nationwide sensation, with Rishab Shetty’s performance still giving audiences goosebumps. Over the years, the film has gained a cult following.
If Rishab can deliver another engaging and surprising experience with Kantara 2, it could emerge as a serious contender for the highest-grossing film of 2025.
