Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered as many as 19 cases in January 2025.
Of these, 10 were related to trap cases, while one pertained to Disproportionate Assets (DA) case, and three criminal misconduct cases. It ordered three each regular and discreet enquiries following information from the persons concerned.
Seventeen public servants including three outsourcing employees and private persons were arrested and remanded to judicial custody in separate bribe cases registered against them. The ACB seized Rs.1.45 lakh in trap cases of various departments – Education, Revenue, Home, Finance, Animal Husbandry, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), Health Medical and Family Welfare.
In one DA case of the Tribal Welfare Department, the assets worth Rs.65.50 lakh were unearthed, according to a statement issued on Monday.
