Vietnamese EV manufacturer, VinFast showcased its global product lineup at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January, 2025. At the event, the carmaker confirmed that it will begin its Indian innings with two premium electric SUVs – VF6 and VF7 – during this year’s festive season. Speaking to an online media publicationPham Sanh Chau, MG and CEO of VinFast’s Aisa operations, confirmed that the brand will introduce its mass-market offering – VF3 – in 2026. VinFast VF3

The VF3 is a two-door, affordable urban electric commuter, which was first unveiled in 2023 and entered production last year. Its powertrain setup includes an 18.64kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery and a 44bhp, electric motor. This compact EV can attain a maximum speed of up to 100kmph. The VinFast VF3 offers a range of around 210km on a full charge. It measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width and 1,622mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,075mm.
VinFast VF6

Globally, the VF6 electric SUV is offered in Eco and Plus variants, packed with a 59.6kWh battery and a front-axle mounted electric motor. The Eco variant delivers a claimed power of 178bhp with 250Nm of torque, the Plus variant offers power worth 204bhp and 310Nm of torque. The WLTP range of the EV stands at 399km for the Eco and 381km for the Plus. Specifications of the India-spec VinFast VF6 are yet to be revealed.
VinFast VF7

The VF7 is an electric coupe SUV, available in Eco and Plus variants. Compared to the VF6, it has bigger battery pack with capacity of 75.3kWh. While the Eco variant comes with a single electric motor and offers 204bhp with 310Nm, the Plus trim has dual motor setup and promises a maximum power of 354bhp with 500Nm. The VinFast VF7 returns a claimed range of 450km (Eco) and 431km (Plus).
