After 4 years of owning this SUV, I can say that the experience of a Mercedes is sublime.

Service
4th year @ 35,650kms
Gave the car to Sundaram Whitefield service centre. Service was as expected, top tier.
The cost was adjusted against Star Ease Compact Plus 4y/40K (service package). The package has finished with this service.
- All filters and fluids (excluding transmission) were changed
- Wheel alignment and balancing done
- Wiper blades were replaced
- Windshield was polished to ensure no noise
- Brake pads were replaced (this is the first replacement after 4 years)
Overall Review
4 years out, I feel 2 things stand out with a Mercedes:
- The experience of a Mercedes is sublime! They do a fantastic job of wrapping the people in the car in a cocoon. This helps in both long drives & Bangalore city traffic. This does mean the driving experience is a little abstracted from the raw power generated, but I have started liking this, e.g. the acceleration is not sudden and fast, it is smooth & linear.
- The service experience, delivered in my case, by Sundaram Motors. They are consistent, transparent and warm. It’s a tier above any other dealer I have experienced. Makes it very stress-free.
