Ola Roadster X and X Plus electric bikes have finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 74,999 and Rs 1,04,999, respectively. Ola Electric has confirmed that deliveries of these electric bikes will begin in mid-March, 2025. The Roadster X Plus 9.1kWh variant will arrive a little later, with deliveries to start after April 2025. Now, let’s delve into key details of these new Ola electric bikes.

The Roadster X is being offered in three variants – 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh – priced at Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999 and Rs 1,04,999, respectively. It will compete with the Revolt RV400 BRZ, Oben Rorr EZ and PURE EV EcoDryft. The Roadster X Plus, on the other hand, comes in two variants – 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh – available at Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 1,54,999, respectively. This electric bike takes on the Revolt RV400 and Oben Rorr.
It’s important to note that these mentioned prices are introductory, ex-showroom. Buyers can avail a discount of Rs 15,000 for the next seven days over the ex-showroom prices (i.e. till 11th February, 2025).

The Roadster X 2.5kWh and 3.5kWh variants are claimed to deliver an IDC-rated range of 117km and 159km, respectively. The power output of both batteries is same – 7kW. While the smaller battery pack accelerates 0 to 40kmph in 3.2 seconds and offers a top speed of 105kmph, the bigger battery does 0 to 40kmph in 2.9 seconds and attains a maximum speed of 117kmph. The Roadster X with the 4.5kWh battery pack promises a range of 124km (IDC-certified) along with a maximum power of 7kWh and speed of 200km. It’s capable to achieve 40kmph from standstill in 2.8 seconds. All three variants get a 7kWh mid-mounted electric motor.
The Roadster X Plus 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh offer an IDC-claimed range of 252km and 501km, respectively. Both variants deliver a peak power of 11kWh and a top speed of 125km. The smaller battery can do 0 to 40kmph in 2.8 seconds, while the top-end 9.1kWh version is slightly faster achieving the same in 2.7 seconds. The Roadster X Plus variants feature a 11kW electric motor.

Ola Electric claims that the Roadster X 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 3.3 hours, 4.6 hours and 5.9 hours, respectively. Charging time of the Roadster X Plus is yet to be revealed.
Ola Roadster X and X Plus: Features
The new Ola electric bikes offer a 4.3-inch colour LCD instrument console along with the smartphone connectivity including remote unlock, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, etc. There is charger in the small boot storage area. The e-bikes have three ride modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. With the Roadster X Plus, you get two additional features – cruise control and reverse mode.
